श्रीभगवानुवाच | मय्यावेश्य मनो ये मां नित्ययुक्ता उपासते | श्रद्धया परयोपेतास्ते मे युक्ततमा मताः || २ ||

“The Blessed Lord said: Those who fix their minds on Me, worship Me with supreme faith, ever steadfast — I consider them to be the most perfect in yoga.”
Here Krishna unequivocally declares that the devotee who fixes the mind on the personal form of the Lord with supreme faith (paraya sraddhaya) is yuktatama — the most perfect of all yogis. This verse is the conclusive answer: bhakti-yoga directed at the personal Lord is the highest path. The word 'paraya' (supreme or transcendental) indicates that this faith is not ordinary sentiment but a profound spiritual conviction.
