सर्वभूतस्थितं यो मां भजत्येकत्वमास्थितः | सर्वथा वर्तमानोऽपि स योगी मयि वर्तते || ३१ ||
sarva-bhūta-sthitaṃ yo māṃ bhajaty ekatvam āsthitaḥ sarvathā vartamāno 'pi sa yogī mayi vartate
sarva-bhūta-sthitam—situated in all beings; yaḥ—whoever; mām—Me; bhajati—worships; ekatvam—in unity; āsthitaḥ—established; sarvathā—in all kinds of; vartamānaḥ—existing; api—although; saḥ—he; yogī—the transcendentalist; mayi—in Me; vartate—lives.
“That yogi who, established in oneness, worships Me as dwelling in all beings — though living in all ways of life, he dwells in Me.”
The highest form of worship is not confined to the altar. The yogi who has established himself in the vision of oneness (ekatvam āsthitaḥ) worships the Divine in every being he serves, every task he performs, every moment of his life. 'Sarvathā vartamānaḥ api' — even while living in all the varied circumstances of ordinary life — such a one abides in Me. Life itself becomes the temple.
Ask yourself: can your work, your relationships, your daily tasks become forms of worship? If God dwells in all beings, then serving others is serving God. If God pervades all forms, then doing your work with care and love is offering it to God. This shift in perspective transforms the ordinary into the sacred.
