यो मां पश्यति सर्वत्र सर्वं च मयि पश्यति | तस्याहं न प्रणश्यामि स च मे न प्रणश्यति || ३० ||
yo māṃ paśyati sarvatra sarvaṃ ca mayi paśyati tasyāhaṃ na praṇaśyāmi sa ca me na praṇaśyati
yaḥ—whoever; mām—Me; paśyati—sees; sarvatra—everywhere; sarvam—everything; ca—and; mayi—in Me; paśyati—sees; tasya—for him; aham—I; na—not; praṇaśyāmi—am lost; saḥ—he; ca—also; me—for Me; na—nor; praṇaśyati—is lost.
“Whoever sees Me everywhere and sees everything in Me — I am never lost to him, and he is never lost to Me.”
From the Vishishtadvaita perspective, this verse describes the culminating devotional vision: the one who sees Krishna (the Supreme Being) everywhere and sees all things as resting within Krishna. For Ramanuja, this is not the impersonal monism of Advaita but a living, loving recognition that the Divine pervades all and sustains all, and that the devotee who perceives this is in permanent, unbreakable communion with the Divine. 'He is never lost to Me' — the Divine never withdraws from such a one.
This verse is an invitation to a devotional practice: see the sacred in the ordinary. A blade of grass, a child's face, a glass of water — all are expressions of the same Presence. This practice of seeing the Divine everywhere transforms life from a mechanical sequence of tasks into a continuous act of worship.
