ये तु धर्म्यामृतमिदं यथोक्तं पर्युपासते | श्रद्दधाना मत्परमा भक्तास्तेऽतीव मे प्रियाः || २० ||
ye tu dharmyāmṛtam idaṁ yathōktaṁ paryupāsate śraddadhānā mat-paramā bhaktās te 'tīva me priyāḥ
ye—those who; tu—but; dharmya—righteous path; amṛtam—nectar; idam—this; yathā uktam—as declared; paryupāsate—completely engage in; śraddadhānāḥ—with faith; mat-paramāḥ—taking Me as supreme; bhaktāḥ—devotees; te—they; atīva—exceedingly; me—to Me; priyāḥ—dear.
“Those who follow this immortal righteousness (dharmyamritam) as declared, endowed with faith, regarding Me as the Supreme — those devotees are exceedingly dear to Me.”
The chapter closes with the words 'dharmyamritam' — the nectar of righteousness. The qualities of the dear devotee described in verses 13 through 19 are not merely ethical ideals but constitute the amrita, the immortal nectar that transforms the seeker. Those who live these qualities with faith and with the Lord as their supreme goal (mat-parama) are held by the Lord as exceedingly dear. This is the highest endorsement from the highest source.

This final verse assures us that sincere engagement with even one of these qualities, with faith, moves us toward the highest. The path of bhakti is both demanding and profoundly accessible — it begins wherever we are.
