यद्यद्विभूतिमत्सत्त्वं श्रीमदूर्जितमेव वा | तत्तदेवावगच्छ त्वं मम तेजोंऽशसम्भवम् || ४१ ||
yad yad vibhūtimat sattvaṁ śrīmad ūrjitam eva vā tat tad evāvagaccha tvaṁ mama tejo 'ṁśa-sambhavam
yat yat—whatever; vibhūti—opulence; mat—has; sattvam—being; śrī-mat—beautiful; ūrjitam—glorious; eva—certainly; vā—or; tat tat—all that; eva—certainly; avagaccha—know; tvam—you; mama—My; tejaḥ—splendor; aṁśa—partial; sambhavam—born of.
“Whatever being possesses power, beauty, or glory — know that to be born of a spark of My splendor.”
This is perhaps the most practically applicable verse of the entire chapter. It provides a universal key: wherever excellence, beauty, or power appears — in a sunset, in a brilliant mind, in an act of extraordinary kindness, in the night sky — there is a spark of the infinite. Develop the habit of tracing these sparks back to their source, and the world becomes a living scripture.
Make this verse a daily practice: whenever you encounter something truly beautiful, powerful, or excellent today — a piece of music, a person's act of courage, a natural phenomenon — pause for a moment and consciously recognize it as tejoṁśasambhavam, born of a spark of the divine splendor. Over time, this practice transforms ordinary perception into continuous contemplation.
