himakunda mṛṇālābhaṁ daityānāṁ paramaṁ gurum sarvaśāstra pravaktāraṁ bhārgavaṁ praṇamāmyaham

hima—snow; kunda—jasmine; mṛṇāla—lotus fiber; ābham—shining like; daityānām—of the asuras; paramam—supreme; gurum—teacher; sarva-śāstra-pravaktāram—speaker of all teachings; bhārgavam—to Shukra; praṇamāmi aham—I bow.
Translation
I bow to Shukra, radiant like snow, jasmine, and lotus fiber, supreme teacher of the asuras, and eloquent knower of all teachings.
Commentary
Shukra here is refinement, value, beauty, and relational intelligence. Spiritually, the verse reminds practitioners to refine desire into appreciation, gratitude, and ethical participation in the world.
