नैते सृती पार्थ जानन्योगी मुह्यति कश्चन | तस्मात्सर्वेषु कालेषु योगयुक्तो भवार्जुन || २७ ||
naite sṛtī pārtha jānan yogī muhyati kaścana tasmāt sarveṣu kāleṣu yoga-yukto bhavārjuna
na—never; ete—these two; sṛtī—paths; pārtha—O son of Pritha; jānan—knowing; yogī—a yogi; muhyati—is deluded; kaścana—any; tasmāt—therefore; sarveṣu—at all; kāleṣu—times; yoga-yuktaḥ—established in yoga; bhava—be; arjuna—O Arjuna.
“Knowing these two paths, O son of Pritha, no yogi is deluded. Therefore, at all times be established in yoga, O Arjuna.”
Knowledge of the two paths is not a guarantee of liberation—it is the foundation of informed spiritual commitment. The yogi who understands the stakes of their choices lives with greater intentionality and dedication. 'At all times be in yoga' is the perennial instruction, applying as much to the kitchen as to the meditation cushion.
Use the knowledge of these two paths not to judge yourself or others but to orient your daily choices. Before making a significant decision—how you spend your time, what you consume, how you treat others—pause and ask: does this lead toward greater light and awareness or toward greater darkness and unconsciousness?
